Ink Swatching Session

For both beginners and hobbyists!

Join us at Happy Hues for an ink swatching session where you will have access to try over 100 of our colors from Wearingeul, Tono & Lims, Kitty Ink Pot, Dominant Industry, and other brands; we are the only physical store in Seattle that offers these brands! Inks range from having shimmers (glitter), sheens (shines), shading (light to dark values), and chroma-shading (color changing ink). This is a 2-hour long session, great for those who are new to the hobby and want to learn more about fountain inks, fine writing and how they interact with different papers-- also great for those who are deep in the hobby and want to test colors live. What comes with the session:

✦ Each session is bookable by a max of 4 people for an intimate experience; invite your friends to the same session or meet new friends!
✦ You will have access to different fountain pen papers to test. If relevant, you may bring your own sketchbook or paper to test on too!
✦ You will have access to a 40mm metal nib, glass nib, and swatching rod.
✦ The session will be catered to your experience level, your paper preferences, and favorite colors; if no preference, we will suggest options to you. The session can also be more hands on or off, whichever you prefer. 
✦ After the session, you have the option to purchase a take-home-kit at a discounted price. Kit includes: swatching rod, ink vial of your choice, and multiple different papers to test (with custom Happy Hues swatch designs).

This session is hosted at the Happy Hues shop in Seattle. Please come 10 minutes before your session.
